Grade 1/2's Epsom

Ants are interesting insects. We have been learning about ants and look forward to hearing anything you know about ants!!

We have learnt about bees, I wonder what information you can share with us about bees.

Flat Nathan came to our school to have a visit. He came from Canada. He played on the playground, met the chooks and learnt lots inside. He had a great time. Please leave a comment.

Very exciting, it is cross country day today and we have done lots of training. We are looking forward to running in front of our families. We wonder how fast we will run… How do you train for a cross country or a run.

We had two days off this week. One day was for ANZAC day and the other was a curriculum day. We have done lots of interesting things this week. I wonder what you call interesting? What is ANZAC day?

We had some amazing chefs in our room yesterday! We learnt how to make chocolate balls. We had lots of helpers come in to teach us how to make them. We got to take them home! We made them because we have been learning about Procedural Texts. They explain how to do things! Do you like chocolate balls? What is your favourite recipe?

Dear Grade 1/2,

I borrowed something from your room last week. Have you missed it? Do you know what it is? Mr Saddlier and I want to keep it in the Gr 3/4 learning community so I have bought some more for you to learn with in the Gr 1/2 learning community. I wonder who will work it out first?

Thanks so much to 5/6 P for teaching us some Traditional Games. It was heaps of fun. It was a great example of leadership and getting along. We wonder if you know any games that you could share with us as we love learning new games.
